The Resonance Engine is the heart of what the Codex is trying to become. Every field report can assert weighted, typed resonance links — to entities, realms, qualia, other people's reports, and other artists' work. When many travellers independently point at the same thing with the same conviction, that agreement is a signal worth noticing: a shared pattern emerging from scattered, first-hand accounts.

To be clear about what this is not: resonance is reported convergence, not proof. That travellers agree may reflect a genuine regularity of these states — or shared culture, language, and expectation. We surface where accounts rhyme and where they diverge; we don't claim to tell you what is “really” out there.

We've built the plumbing to capture those relationships. What's still being designed is how we present them — the clustering, the summaries, and the maps that show where accounts converge and diverge. That's the piece coming next; it's not ready to show yet.
