Honestly? I don't know what any of these experiences really mean — and that's exactly why I built this.

If it turns out they're all just the brain's wetware and software doing bizarre things when you stimulate them, then that is pretty bloody incredible on its own. And if there's actually something to be learned here — about the nature of reality, or the possibility that external, autonomous entities somehow exist and are interacting with us — then that is also bloody amazing. Either way, I win by looking.

I was thinking the other day that being part of an investigation like this is about the closest I'll ever get to being a real-life Ghostbuster. Honestly, that's good enough for me.
